- Dr. Kalyan Chakraborty obtained a B.E. degree in mechanical engineering from Regional Engineering College, Durgapur, under Burdwan University in 1984, an MTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, in 1988, and a PhD in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, in 1996. He has been serving at this institution since 1984. Presently, he is serving as an associate professor.
