- Obtained B.E. degree from Mechanical Engineering Department of Regional Engineering College ( REC ) Silchar under Gauhati University in 1984, M.Tech from Applied Mechanics Department of Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 1990, PhD from Mechanical Engineering Department of National Institute of Technology Silchar in 2020. Joined REC Silchar as a Lecturer in Applied Mechanics Department in 1985, Joined as faculty in Mechanical Engineering of National Institute of Technology Silchar in 2002, Promoted to Selection Grade Lecturer in 2008, Working as Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering w.e.f. 2011. Member of professional bodies like Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (India), Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education.
