Introduction [Biosketch]
- Dr. Pitambar Randive is currently serving as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department . He has received his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University in 1997. Further, He obtained his Masters in mechanical engineering with specialization in heat power engineering from VNIT (Earlier known as V.R.C.E.) Nagpur in 2001. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in 2014.
Areas of Interest
- My research interests lie in the computational heat transfer and fluid mechanics, with an emphasis on the development of Lattice Boltzmann method for industrial applications. More recently, my work has been focused on the analysis of Mesoscale heat transfer, particularly in Lab on Chip applications and Mesoscale modeling of interface phenomenon. I am a strong supporter of FOSS (Free and Open Source Software).
